We appreciate there has been a lot in the news about dentistry recently, especially with some practices starting back in England. As with most COVID-19 matters there is variation across the home nations.
In Scotland, the practice continues to be closed for 'routine' care but we are making preparations to re-open to start seeing emergency and urgent care patients again within the next few weeks.
We will update as soon as that happens and meantime we are in the process of re-starting and checking equipment, securing the correct PPE as well as making some modifications to the premises and to our procedures to protect you and the team.
In light of this any routine patient appointments up until the end of July have now been cancelled. You should have received notification of this by phone, text or letter.
If we have not contacted you yet, please assume your appointment is cancelled up until that time.
In the meantime, as before, only patients with severe symptoms of infection, swelling, bleeding or trauma will be seen for emergency treatment within designated centres in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area.
If you have an emergency:
-During the week, between the hours of 9am-6pm, phone the practice on 0141-889 2016 and follow the message
-After 6pm during the week and at weekends contact NHS24 on 111
We are looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Please take care and continue to look after yourselves
