Since 2005, Michael has attended many facial rejuvenation courses in Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and London and has become fully certified and indemnified for the uses of popular non-surgical cosmetic procedures. In this field, Michael has a special interest in Advanced Botox to correct not only typical frown and forehead lines, but more complex lines around the mouth and neck. He has also mastered the art of using fillers whereby lips and cheeks can be enhanced and fine lines removed.

In 2007, he was invited to join Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group. He now performs a wide variety of dental and facial cosmetic procedures including laser treatment and chemical peels in their clinics across Scotland.

Michael is the youngest Dental Practice Inspector in Scotland for the NHS Forth Valley Health Board which involves inspecting other dental practices and ensuring current guidelines are met. He is also a committee member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners West of Scotland Division. Between 2008 and 2010, he was involved with the General Practitioner's Sub Committee and Local Dental Committee, which involved representing fellow dentists regarding negotiations with relevant NHS and government bodies.
